MedPoint is our automated medication collection unit.
MedPoint is situated conveniently at the surgery's entrance.
MedPoint is a user-friendly system which makes it easier for you to collect your repeat medication at a time that suits you, 24hrs a day 7 days a week.
How does MedPoint Work?
1. Order your medication as usual (now also available to do conveniently through the NHS APP)
2. The medication* is dispensed within our usual time frame and loaded into the MedPoint collection unit.
3. You will receive an automated Text or Email with a unique MedPoint collection PIN or QR Code.
4. When you are ready, visit the MedPoint unit, enter the PIN or scan your QR Code to collect your prescription.
*Please note Bulk, Fridge and Controlled Drugs will not be available for collection via MedPoint. These items will continue to be dispensed from our reception desk.
