Anyone attending the surgery must now wear a covering over their nose & mouth; whether it be to attend an appointment, collect a prescription, or accompany someone they care for.
Please do not arrive EARLY for your appointment.
In accordance with current social distancing guidelines, we are not permitting patients to wait inside the building. You may be asked to return to your vehicle and wait for your clinician to become available. Please therefore be mindful of the weather conditions when setting out and come prepared.
We would like to thank you all for your understanding and support during these challenging times. We continue to do our upmost to ensure we offer high standard healthcare in a manner that is safe for both patients and our dedicated staff.
Receptionists required! See our Staff Vacancies page for further info...
Please see the directory on right hand side for the most recent guidance. It is VITALLY important that you do not attend the surgery, should you suspect that you or a family member may have Covid 19.
HIGHEST RISK PATIENTS
Some of our patients have received letters generated by the Government advising them to 'Shield' themselves - that is, stay at home for the next 12 weeks.
You will have had the letter if you have certain specific health conditions, which would make catching COVD-19, very dangerous for you and this is why you are being told to 'shield' yourself from contact with other people.
Some patients who should be shielding have not received a letter yet. Another set of letters will be coming out soon or you can go online to www.coronavirus-vulnerable-people.service.gov.uk to register yourself or a family member.
The site will not let you register unless you have one of the conditions outlined.
OTHER PATIENTS IN NEED
You may not be at the highest health risk as a result of COVID-19, but still be following Government advice and staying at home. This is the right thing to do. However, you may find hat you need more help than normal in order to do this. The Wiltshire Community groups directory below, will provide contact details of groups who will be able to help with shopping, transport, dog walking etc.
Wiltshire Community Groups Directory
We have a very active group of volunteers who will collect and deliver your medication for you if you are struggling to get these. Please ask at the surgery, for contact details for these willing volunteers.
If you have not yet registered for our Online Services, please call the Surgery to discuss how you could do this without having to visit us in person or download the NHS App onto your smartphone/tablet and follow the instructions.
