We will invite all children aged 2 & 3 and also those aged 6 months to 2 years and 11 to 18 years who are in an 'at risk' category for their flu vaccinations as soon as we can. 

Unfortunately there are restrictions on supplies to GP Surgeries, which means we are having to tightly manage the invitations and clinics according to delivery schedules.  

Children aged 4 to 10 (in reception class and in school years 1 to 6) should be offered a vaccination via the school immunisation programme led by Virgincare.

Should you not wish your child to receive a flu vaccination this year, please let our admin team know.


Flu season is upon us once again! Invitations have been sent to patients who qualify for a free vaccination this year according to NHS guidelines.

Initial invitations have been sent by letter, or email to those patients who have given us prior consent (please remember to check your junk/spam folder).

Our clinics will be held predominantly on Saturdays throughout September & October; with a limited number of alternative appointments available on weekdays for those patients who cannot attend on a Saturday .

If you have not yet booked (or declined) your free NHS flu vaccination, or if you feel you qualify for one but have not received an invite, please contact us on the main surgery number and ask to speak to the admin team, or call in to our reception desk during opening hours.

This practice will be ensuring everyone has easier and more convenient access to GP services, including appointments at evenings and weekends. We will be working with a variety of health care providers in several locations, all registered with CQC to provide GP services. The GP practice where the patient is seen will take responsibility for the regulated activity delivered there, regardless of where the patient is registered.

Evening appointments Monday to Friday, are available at Salisbury Medical Practice and Saturday appointments are available at Three  Chequers Medical Practice, Three Swans site for blood tests,  HCA and Nurse appointments.

TPP Online services are doing updates to prepare the software for patients to access their medical records online later in the year. 


Whiteparish Surgery is a dispensing practice. This means that the Doctors and Nurse Prescribers are able to prescribe you with the appropriate medication and our team of Dispensers are able to prepare and dispense all prescription only medications - this includes controlled drugs.

Repeat Prescriptions

If you are prescribed regular medicines, your Doctor may decide that you should have a repeat prescription so that you do not need to see a Doctor every time you need the prescription renewed.

Your condition will still be monitored by the Doctor or Nurse so you will need to make an appointment to see them from time to time to ensure that you can continue being given your medication. When you collect a repeat prescription, you are given a slip of paper that will advise you when you need to make an appointment to speak with your Doctor or Nurse.

Dispensary Staff Changes

We have temporary staff changes in the dispensary please allow 3 working days for your prescription during this time. (Dec 2016- March 2017).  We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

How do I order my repeat prescription?

There are four ways that you can order your repeat prescription, either online, in the surgery or by post. Please ensure that you order your medication no less than 3 working days before you run out!

  • Online - Simply log in to your SystmOnline account above to order your repeat precription. If you haven't yet registered online and want to find out more information, click here.
  • In the Surgery - Whenever you collect a repeat prescription, you are given a new reorder form. Simply fill in the form by ticking the medication you require and posting in the black box found in our Reception Lobby. If you do not have a repeat form, please ask Reception to print a new one for you.
  • By Post - You can send us your medication request by posting it to us. Please note that requests via post will require 5 workings days to be processed.
  • By Fax - You can fax your request to us. Our fax number is 01794 885271




How do I complete the request form? 

  • Tick which medicines you are requesting
    • Each item (medicine) you require must be marked with a tick.  If nothing is marked we assume nothing is required. 
    • Tick a collection point - We offer 6 collection points where you can have your medication delivered. Please see the table below for where and when we deliver.

All items will need to be paid for at the practice before being delivered to a collection point. If you do not tick a box we assume that you will be collecting your prescription from the Dispensary.
